Care Programme A scientifically based care programme has been developed in cooperation with prof. Anne Goossensen, Tilburg University, for clients with the Korsakov syndrome. This programme is developed for the treatment of this subject group in general specifically for the treatment and guidance of clients who reside in the care homes of the four cooperating organizations. Knowledge and experience gained in this manner can be duplicated and exchanged. This can lead to improvement of the living conditions of Korsakov patients. Timely identification of the syndrome and hence timely commencement of the specific treatment is aimed for.
